Fashion your horror vibes with Cult Gloria

Hailing from the regions of Manchester, Cult Gloria is a streetwear brand that focuses on horror cinema and otherworldly themes that IndieBloom are excited to bring to your attention.

Originally inspired by 70’s and 80's (Italian) horror cinema. Designs also include the characters Pinhead from Hellraiser, Leatherface from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th and Michael Myers from Halloween.

Made in Manchester

Conceived by Robert Eaton while in university and spotted on the Hypebeast forums promoting the brand at it's beginning stages, the range of items from Cult Gloria have steadily grown to include t-shirts, sweaters and hoodies made out of cotton. A YouTube video with Salem's King Night song celebrates 5 years of existence (founded in 2014). It's reputation has also allowed them to collaborate with the American streetwear brand, Foulplay. While online publication, Casual Fridays has regularly included them on their site, including a write-up about their beginnings.

Not all doom and gloom with the black designs with splashes of red, there's many flashes of bright colour added to the mix that add to the theme of dread. A steady stream of "drops", a marketing tactic mainly used by streetwear brands made popular by Supreme, to build up anticipation with a limited supply, for a short period of time and maximise sales. Previous ones by them included designs and prints from popular culture such as Buffy The Vampire Slayer, George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead, The Wicker Man, American Psycho or more cult ones like the fims, Re-Animator and Possession.
