Paloma Demanet bridges the gap between streetwear and art

My parents are kinda creative people so I’ve been drawing from day one, but started doing it more serious at like 19, when I finally realised that I might be good at it.

With many visits to London, UK you see the influences and inspirations flowing, which are especially well documented within her Instagram page. Paintings include varied subjects such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Top Boy and Greta Thunberg. The trainer designs are mostly painted, while pencil sketches are also thrown into the mix.

Her work has been acknowledged and shouted-out by many famous celebrities, both in music and fashion, including Big Boi of Outkast, Missy Elliott, Naomi Campbell, Snoop Dogg and Skepta.

Inspirations from Instagram include fellow artists- Tony Concep, Joy Yamusangie, Junkyrd, Sarah Brown, Robin Velghe, Aslur, Karmo Ruusmaa and Terence Ntsako Tako Maluleke. Based all around the world from the USA, Canada to South Africa.

Paloma's other artistic credits involve artwork for the single for fellow Stockholm singer, Nápoles titled Circulate. Smooth, sultry, soulful R&B vibes for you to listen to. 8-)
